Seasonal Weight Restrictions
POLICY NO. 1977-0 – Adopted March 3, 1977
Commissioner McGregor moved the adoption of the following resolution:
WHEREAS, compiled laws 1949, 257.722, provides for normal maximum loading and springtime reduction thereof for wheel axle loads of vehicles using the highways under the jurisdiction of the Board of County Road Commissioners of Oscoda County; and
WHEREAS, this Board has prepared a map showing the designated highways that are adequate for normal maximum wheel and axle loading during spring break-up period; and
WHEREAS, all such highways designated as inadequate for normal maximum wheel and axle
loading will be so signed at all entrances to said highway; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the springtime restrictions imposed by (e) of this statute apply to all
highways so designated for a period to be determined by the Engineer-Manager of the Oscoda County Road Commission.
